Dr. Aref Karbasi is a primary care physician & cosmetic specialist. He is an expert at diagnosing and treating a range of conditions for patients across their lifespan. Dr. Karbasi earned his medical degree from the Azad Medical School at Azad University in Tehran, Iran. He went on to complete his pediatric residency at the Tehran Medical University Children’s Medical Center. Riam Shamma is an expert in musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine and lectures at the University of Toronto on Musculoskeletal diseases. He is an expert in pain medicine and serves as the Medical Director of Regenerative and Transitional Medicine at the Canadian Center for Regenerative Therapy. He is also the lead scientist at the Institute for Stem Cell Research. Dr. Shammaa is a pioneer in autologous and allogeneic stem cell treatments. He has lent his expertise to the National Ballet of Canada, Toronto Marlies, Toronto FC, Mississauga Steelheads, Ryerson Rams, and Ontario Women’s Hockey Association. He was also appointed as lead physician at the 2015 Pan Am games and currently serves as the lead physician for Boxing Ontario. Dr. Shammaa worked in research at McGill University and in the private sector before completing his residency in family medicine at McGill University. He went on to complete a fellowship in Sports medicine at the University of Toronto. He is a national expert on regenerative medicine and had given several lectures across Canada on stem cells, Transitional medicine and regenerative medicine.
